The ANCWL (African National Congress Women's League) would like to
congratulate all delegates at the ANCWL North West Provincial conference
who put aside the perceived differences in the province and put forward a
vibrant display of unity in democracy.

The Women of the North West conducted themselves in the most disciplined
fashion and have made the organisation proud.

Day one of the conference was dedicated to electing a new PEC structure in
the province who will champion the the rights of women in the North West.

The top five were nominated and elected unopposed they are as follows:

Provincial Chairperson: Jane Manganye

Deputy chairperson:  Kgakgamatso Morwagashwe

Provincial Secretary:  Meokgo Matuba

Deputy Secretary:  Leah Motsepe

Treasurer:  Audrey Magagane

We wish the new leadership well in dealing with the challenges that lie
ahead and are confident they have the leadership capabilities to serve the
women of the Province with dignity, integrity and compassion.
