The African National Congress congratulates Comrade Willies Mchunu on his election as Premier of KwaZulu-Natal today. Comrade Willies Mchunu is a dedicated servant of our people and tried and test leader of the Mass Democratic Movement. ANC has confidence in his ability to build on the sterling work of the ANC government in the province.
We further congratulate Comrade Mdumiseni Ntuli who was sworn in as a Member of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature.
Our sincere gratitude is extended to Comrade Senzo Mchunu for this capable and steady steering of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government as Premier between 2013 to 2016.
