This Sunday, 29 August 2021, ActionSA will celebrate its first anniversary as a force for ethical and decisive servant-leadership aimed at building a safe, inclusive and prosperous South Africa for all its people.
As we prepare to contest our first election, we are ready to provide the solutions needed to deliver quality basic services, safe and secure communities, end corruption, provide residents with the dignity of a job, and encourage every South African to take back their political power by holding politicians to account for their failure to serve the people.
We have traced our roots from the 2,4 million South Africans whose individual views about this country’s collective future have shaped our every action and the solutions we present to communities. We are not a party based on the selfish views of a political elite, but a party based on the collective desire of the good, hard-working, and law-abiding citizens of South Africa that want to fix their country.
There is no denying that under the present political system, South Africans have lost faith in the government’s ability to get the basics right – to simply deliver the bare minimum required for a dignified life. South Africans are gatvol of corruption, looting and cadre deployment; load-shedding and service delivery failures; rising unemployment and poverty; crime and lawlessness; and the gross incompetence of a government that is not committed to public service. In short, they are gatvol with inaction, a political system that does not serve them, and does not serve South Africa.
We have been overwhelmed by the support of South Africans that want a political party that offers them solutions, and a renewed hope for the future. ActionSA was created to do just that. Our focus is on uniting South Africans behind a project to fix our country and build a secure, prosperous, and inclusive future for all those who call South Africa home.
Since our inception, we have fought for justice for the families of Yvonne Mnisi, Pretty Nkambule and Solomon Nyirenda’s who perished at Lily Mine; we have held the DA-led City of Tshwane accountable for their insensitive and irresponsive treatment of the people of Hammanskraal who continue to face a16-year-old water crisis; we have launched a ground-breaking lawsuit against President Ramaphosa for his failure to decisively address acts of insurrection in Gauteng and KZN which have cost lives and countless South Africans jobs; and we will continue to fight for the rights of every South African to access to quality services provided by a competent and ethical government dedicated to service with pride.
In commemoration of our first anniversary, ActionSA Leadership from across South Africa will continue to deliver our message for a competent, professional, caring, and ethical government committed to public service through a range of events and activities leading up to our anniversary celebration on Sunday, 29 August 2021.
ActionSA President, Herman Mashaba will be joined by the entire ActionSA leadership, including National Chairman, Michael Beaumont, our Provincial Chairpersons, John Moodey (Gauteng), Vytjie Mentor (Western Cape), and Dr Makhosi Khoza (Kwa-Zulu Natal), Mayoral Candidates for Tshwane and Ekurhuleni, Abel Tau and Tlhogi Moseki, respectively, National Spokesperson, Lerato Ngobeni and members of the party’s Senate in a tour of engagements with communities across Gauteng.

ActionSA 1 Year Anniversary Celebration
As a party borne out of public engagement and consultation, and the will of ordinary South Africans that love their country but hate what is being done to it, ActionSA believes that the project of fixing South Africa is best served by giving these South Africans a voice in shaping our collective future. As we commemorate our celebrate our first anniversary, we will continue to build on those roots as we work towards our goal of providing an alternative to the political parties that have failed us as a nation.
