International Relations and Cooperation Deputy Minister Marius Fransman is scheduled to address a Palestinian Solidarity Seminar in Cape Town under the theme: “Reflections on 20 Years of International Solidarity with Palestine: SA-Palestine Relations.”
The seminar will be hosted by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) in support of the United Nations Declaration of the year 2014 as the International Year of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. Participants at the seminar will include academics, community leaders, Palestinian solidarity groups and members of civil society.
The event coincides with the visit to South Africa by a high-level delegation of Palestinian officials led by the Minister of the State of Palestine, Dr Raid Malki, and includes Palestinian diplomats accredited to other African countries.
